Photographing Catholic Weddings at St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station

Howdy!

I’m a Catholic wedding photographer drawn to honest storytelling.

My hope on a wedding day is simple. That a couple feels free to enter fully into their day, into the joy, the gravity, and the beauty, while I’m there to witness and tell the story truthfully.

How I Work

I photograph weddings attentively and without interruption.

I’m drawn to moments in passing. Hands held, eyes meeting, the way people inhabit a space and relate to one another. Those details often tell the truest story.

A wedding day holds joy, anticipation, tenderness, and stillness, often all at once. I’m there for all of it, documenting the day as it unfolds rather than directing it.

Nuptial Masses at St. Mary’s Catholic Center

There is something uniquely beautiful about a Nuptial Mass.

The sacred rhythm of the liturgy, the reverence in the Church, and the grace present, not only for the couple but for everyone gathered, shape how I photograph these celebrations.

I’ve photographed many Nuptial Masses at St. Mary’s and understand the space, the flow, and the importance of knowing when to step back. My goal is never to distract, only to witness and to tell the story faithfully.

Rooted in the Life of the Church

I’ve been Catholic my whole life, and much of my work has unfolded within the Church.

I’ve been honored to photograph the SEEK Conference for over a decade, to have led the creative team for the National Eucharistic Congress in 2024, and to share much of my catholic work on Unsplash for creators to use everywhere.

These experiences shape how I approach sacred moments, with reverence, attentiveness, and restraint.

A Small, Intentional Practice

I work full-time as the Director of Marketing and Communications at St. Mary’s, and because of that, I photograph a limited number of weddings each year.

That limitation is intentional. It allows me to be present, prepared, and attentive, not rushed or transactional.

An Invitation

If the way I see a wedding day resonates, and if this approach feels aligned with how you hope to live yours, I’d be glad to connect.

No pressure.
Just a conversation.
